I tried my newer 0.010 thick patches and it seated with little effort. I finally downloaded the manual and was surprised to see that the thing would take as much powder as it does. I had been using 72 grains of pyrodex as that's what my Mossberg muzzleloader instructions said to use. Traditions recommends 80-150 grains.

In my opinion, these are the most accurate yet highest devastating bullet I can find for my Knights. The problem is, it seems that Barnes has them out of stock for the last two years.

Started off with 777 pellets, two pellets at 50 grains each. 295 grain Powerbelt group was large at only 25 yards. Hornady 240 grain XTP with black sabots were somewhat better.
